Wow, another year in the books. I have a tradition of doing a "year in review" post on my blog each year, and have to admit that this year totally felt like a whirlwind.
Let's take a look...
Here are some SWEET SOFTIES highlights:
- I hosted my seventh ever Creator Challenge, featuring Daiyu the Dragon (free crochet pattern). It's mindblowing to me that 114 dragons were created from around the world during the short time that I ran this challenge! Each dragon was so unique and special. You can check out the Creator Challenge Results in more detail.
- We welcomed baby girl, Yumi, to the world! She was eager to come so quickly, that we had an unassisted home birth! You can read about our crazy birth story here. We're so grateful to have Yumi...she has completed our family!!
- I'm continuously amazed by the support that I receive on social media! My FB page has 21k followers, my FB group has 18.7k members, my Youtube Channel has 132k subs, and my Instagram has 24.6k followers. (At this time last year, my following was 20k on FB, 18k in my FB group, 82k on YouTube, and 17.6k on Instagram.) Thank you all for liking my work!
Thinking about this year in review really takes me back to each of these events that occurred. It's such a humbling experience for me to be able to accomplish these things, and I thank all my fellow crocheters and followers for supporting me through this journey!
Before I wrap this up, here's a quick round-up of the crochet designs that I have published this year~
Again, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for liking my work, sticking around, and letting me share my joys in crocheting and creating!
I wish you all a happy, warm, and loving winter holiday and Happy New Year! Let's see what 2025 brings!
With utmost gratitude,

2024 Pattern Round-Up!
I released 63 patterns this year, with over half of them (34) being free patterns on my blog and/or YouTube channel! In the past, I've had a wide variety of amigurumi, clothing, home decor, and accessories, but this year I've been more focused on designing amigurumi.
I just love offering free patterns to share on my blog because I get to see more finished products from my designs! It's always a joy for me to get a tag on Instagram or Facebook of others' projects made using my patterns. If you'd like to show appreciation, I'd love if you can check out my 5 Ways to Support my Blog post.
Anyhow, below are the 63 designs I've published for this calendar year, starting with the 34 free patterns! You can click on the image to navigate to the pattern page.
