Pocket Axolotl · No-Sew Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Here is another highly-requested no-sew pattern! Say hello to the POCKET AXOLOTL! This sweet amigurumi works up quite quickly and is a 2-in-1 pattern that comes with a baby size version.

LINKS

The Pocket Axolotl is a no-sew amigurumi pattern that features this adorable underwater creature! There are two sizes available for you to make a big mommy or adult axolotl, and a small baby axolotl. Both patterns are worked in one piece and are quick and easy to crochet.

This design can also be crocheted with different yarn weights and fibers to create different looks, such as super bulky blanket or chenille yarn for a plush, velvety look or medium weight yarn in cotton or acrylic for a smaller keychain size.

About the Pattern

  • No-sew
  • Easy
  • Fast
  • Comes in 2 sizes: big and small!

Uses

There are many ways to make use of this pattern! You can gift it to family and friends as a birthday gift, Christmas holiday gift, or a Valentine's Day gift!  It's perfect for animal enthusiasts and axolotl lovers. You can also sell it at markets and craft fairs. It's a great market prep pattern to work up because it's quick, easy, and no-sew. Axolotls are also trendy and popular animals that will surely catch your customers' attention!

Yarn

It can also be crocheted with different yarn weights and fibers to create different looks!  Below is the axolotl I crocheted using a polyester yarn (Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn) that creates a chenille and velvet look. This doll turned out to be fluffy, plush, squishy, and super soft!

    Includes a smaller size!

This 2-in-1 pattern pack includes a sweet, little baby for your axolotl doll. It's also no-sew and even faster to work up! For reference, the big size is 7 inches in height, and the baby size is 5 inches in height.

And look - you can make an even tinier baby axolotl if you're working with thinner yarn and a smaller hook. The littlest one on the right (photo below) is only 3.5 inches tall, using the same Baby Axolotl pattern.
