Unity the Unicorn · Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

It's about time I designed a unicorn doll! I'm pretty happy with this cuddly cutie that's *very* low-sew. Hope you like her as much as I do!

Links

Unity the Unicorn is a low-sew amigurumi pattern of this cuddly and colorful stuffed animal! The arms, legs, mane, and tail are all crocheted to the doll without any sewing needed, making it a relatively fast project.

This unicorn pattern can easily be adapted into a horse by omitting the horn. It is the perfect gift for horse lovers and unicorn lovers as a birthday gift, baby shower gift, nursery decor, or Christmas holiday gift. It’s also a beautiful, high-end addition to those crocheting for craft fairs and markets, as well as boutiques and stores!

About the Design

  • Low-sew
  • Easy
  • Fast
  • Style: pop, whimsical, kawaii, magical, fantasy, mythical

Recommended Yarn

This doll can be crocheted with different yarn weights and fibers to create different looks!  I crocheted this design using a polyester yarn (Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn) that creates a chenille and velvet look. The end result is fluffy, plush, squishy, and super soft!

Look at all the colorful curls in her mane and tail, too~

If you'd like to make a smaller, "mini" version of this pattern, the same instructions can be used with medium weight #4 yarn paired with a smaller crochet hook, such as 2.75mm. Here are my medium weight yarn recommendations:

Uses

  • Plush toy for children to play with
  • Selling at craft fairs, markets, or boutiques
  • Birthday gift or holiday gift
  • Christmas stocking stuffer
