Here are some highlights from this year!
- I hosted my very second Creator Challenge, with the Coral the Mermaid pattern. It was so much fun and I can't believe a whopping 85 mermaids were created from around the world! Each one was amazingly unique, and I can't wait to host another Creator Challenge next year!
- I was nominated for the Creative Crochet Blog Award hosted by LoveCrafts! Even though I didn't win, it was a very humbling experience to be nominated in the first place!
- During the entire month of March, I participated in #CrochetMadness, a fun Instagram challenge with my fellow Wonder Wool-men!
- AllFreeCrochet featured my sweet bunny lovey pattern in their post, Hop to It: 17+ Free Crochet Bunny Patterns!
- The support that I received on social media continues to blow my mind! My FB page has 5.2k followers, my FB group has 7.8k members, and my Instagram has 3.3k followers. (At this time last year, my following was 2.7k on FB, 6.1k in my FB group, and 2.1k on Instagram.) Thank you all for liking my work!
Thinking about this year in review really takes me back to each of these events that occurred! It's such a humbling experience for me to be able to accomplish these tasks, and I thank all my fellow crocheters and followers for supporting me through this journey! Thank you all so much!
Before I wrap this up, here's a quick round-up of the crochet designs that I have published this year!
2019 Pattern Round-Up!
Below are the 42 designs that I have created this year, with a whopping 39 of them as free patterns listed on my blog! They're a good variety of amigurumi, clothing, accessories, home decor, and holiday-related creations.
Last year, I had created 24 new patterns, so I'm really surprised at the jump in my count for this year! Plus, instead of only 11 free patterns, I more than tripled than number by sharing a lot more freebies on my blog. I'm very glad for that, because I tend to see more finished products out there of my free designs, which is an amazing feeling to any designer to see their creation being made by someone else!
