Cabana Cold-Shoulder Top (Free Crochet Pattern)

Hi my lovely crocheters,

I recently designed this quick and easy top, and I just LOVE how it feels and looks!

I call it the Cabana Cold-Shoulder Top.  It features the cold-shoulder style, a cross between a short-sleeved tee and a tank top with two thin shoulder straps.  I think it's a really fresh-looking warm weather trend, perfect for the Spring and Summer seasons.  I can't wait to wear it lots this time of the year!

It's really adorable for wearing to picnics at the park, or for lounging on a cruise, by the poolside... anything that screams "vacation"!  It can be worn as a shirt over a tank, or as a cute beach cover-up over a bikini if you add additional rows to the length so that it covers the butt.  (Directions for adjustments are written into this pattern, so it's super easy to make it your preferred length!)

It's super comfortable, very light-weight, and amazingly soft to the skin with LB Collection® Mako Cotton Yarn.  My fingers felt blessed just working with this silky yarn...it's really such a treat!  What I love about Mako Cotton Yarn is that it comes in some other really lovely colors too, including a soft pink and light grey that I have my eyes on!!

Gorgeous Mako Cotton Yarn in 'Mint'

I used nearly 4 skeins for the XS/S size.  Here's the itty bit of yarn that I had left!

This beautiful top adds a refreshing pop of color and lace texture to any outfit. The shell stitch that is used in this pattern is repetitive and simple to get the hang of, making this top a relatively quick and easy project.  You can check out my other crochet wearables to see clothing and accessories for every season!
