Alright, let's get this ball rolling!
I fell in love with this beautiful design when I first laid eyes on it! How absolutely stunning, am I right?
The stitches on this summer cardigan is breathtaking and everything about it is screaming modern boho, which is SO in right now! I was super excited to start, and I picked out yarns in my favorite color. I'm also happy to say that I discovered what tencel yarn was, and tried it out for the very first time!
I picked out Yarn Bee Fresh Haven in the color pink. It's a lighter weight 4 yarn, and I decided to pair it with my 6.00mm crochet hook. Once I got my yarn ready, I began the project! The special stitch that Cheramy used was sooo easy to follow with her clear written instructions and accompanying photo references. I got the hang of it right away, and was so pleasantly surprised to find out how enjoyable and fun these stitches were!
The construction is so simple with minimal sewing, which makes it stress-free and easy!
With the sizes being fully customizable, I decided to go with a shorter length (38") so that it could double up as a summer cardigan. I used nearly three skeins of yarn, approximately 540 yards. Before I knew it, the project was complete!!
I think it goes well with casual summer dresses, and can pair nicely with a tank top and shorts too! I'm just trying to imagine all the fashionable combinations right now, and there's SO many!
It's an absolutely perfect piece to wear during warmer weather, and really adds a beautiful pop of color and lacy texture to any outfit. I'm in love.
