Creator Challenge is Complete!

The month of June just flew by, didn't it?  During this time, I gradually released parts of the pattern for Coral the Mermaid as my second Creator Challenge.


I absolutely loved seeing all the WIP and finished mermaid photos in the Sweet Softies FB group!  You are all SO creative and really talented at customizing your mermaids and putting your own flair on them!  It brings me such joy to see all your lovely creations, read up on your mermaids' names and sometimes backstories (I love those!!), as well as notes on who you are gifting them to.  I know all the gifted mermaids will be very much loved and cherished! 

While the Creator Challenge was going on, I crocheted a third doll based off this pattern...

Say hello to Micah!

Micah is a tiny Prince of the seas.

He's the younger brother of Mariella and Coral. 

Mariella, the eldest sister, especially likes keeping a watchful eye out on Micah.  Coral prefers to let him have his freedom.  The three of them all love swimming alongside one another, exploring the beautiful ocean waters, collecting shiny seashells, and playing hide-and-seek among the colorful coral reef and kelp forests.

Now that these three sibling mermaids are complete and joined by many more brothers and sisters, I will be compiling all their photos together in a "family album"!  Stay tuned for a blog post and video coming up featuring all the mermaids.  At that point, the winner of the Creator Challenge will also be announced!
