2021 Year in Review

Well, it's another year in the books! One of my traditions here at Sweet Softies is doing a "year in review" post at the end of each year.  I must say - it's been another year of such fun and happenings! 

Let's take a look...

Here are some SWEET SOFTIES highlights:

• I hosted my fourth ever Creator Challenge, with Kimono Kitty. It was so much fun and I can't believe that 30 kitties were created from around the world during the short time that I ran the challenge!  Each kitty was amazingly unique, and you can check out the Creator Challenge Results in more detail. 
• I had a lot of fun doing my very first YouTube livestream! It's always such a pleasure to connect with my viewers from around the world!
• I collaborated with Furls Crochet to design the Sakura Kimono Bunny, which is a free pattern featured on their site.  I was also given the immense honor of participating in a Furls interview with Ms. Deveter Brown! 
• The support that I received on social media continues to blow my mind!  My FB page has 19.2k followers, my FB group has 17.3k members, my Youtube Channel has 26.8k subs, and my Instagram has 7.6k followers.  (At this time last year, my following was 14.4k on FB, 15.3k in my FB group, and 5k on Instagram.)  Thank you all for liking my work!

Thinking about this year in review really takes me back to each of these events that occurred.  It's such a humbling experience for me to be able to accomplish these things, and I thank all my fellow crocheters and followers for supporting me through this journey!

2021 Pattern Round-Up!

Below are the 42 free patterns of mine that I released this year.  Six of them include added bonuses with the PDF pattern purchase... the others are listed in entirety for free on my blog!  There's a good variety of amigurumi, clothing, accessories, home decor, and holiday-related creations.
