Any owl lovers here? Do you also love little pouches to hold trinkets and such? Well, this little Woodland Owl Pouch is my newest free crochet pattern and it's the perfect mini bag!
LINKS
The Woodland Owl Pouch is a no-sew bag for holding small trinkets and tiny treasures when exploring the forest. It’s nifty, eco-friendly, can be attached to a keyring or keychain, and used as a backpack or purse accessory. The design features textured puff stitches made of dc clusters for the owl’s belly, as well as big round eyes, colored wings, and a hanging loop. It’s the perfect birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift for animal lovers who have a penchant for whimsical styles!

Yarn
Worsted weight (#4) yarn is recommended for this pattern. I used Hobbii's Upcycled Alpaca Blend, which is a limited edition and unfortunately may be discontinued in the near future. Other yarn recommendations I have for this pattern include:
- Lion Brand Heartland (100% acrylic and has many natural, heathered shades that would give a similarly rustic vibe)
- Lion Brand's 24/7 Cotton Yarn (100% cotton and will produce beautiful stitch definition)
- Brava Worsted (100% acrylic, sturdy, and pretty good bang for your buck!)
Crossbody Bag
Want a crossbody bag version of this pouch? Check out the Magic-Owl Bag or the Mini Magic-Owl Bag!
The top of these bags are pulled up to reveal the bag's opening! They're also very nifty for storing little treasures..
