"Loving You" Flower Pot (Free Crochet Pattern)

Good day, little love bugs~

Valentine's Day is almost here!

If you're like me, you're quite unintentionally talented at killing fresh flowers.  It's a sad superpower to have, but I cannot - for the life of me - seem to keep fresh flowers in their beautiful, pristine conditions past a day's time.

So, *drumroll*....

Here's a crocheted, never-dying, everlasting flower pot to save the day!

I think this bright, little pop of colorful flowers in a pot will be a joyful gift for a loved one this Valentine's Day!

Not celebrating V-day? Well, here are other ideas...
  • Spray perfume or add a drop of essential oil
  • Add a string and hang it on your car's rearview mirror as a cute satchel
  • Keep it on your office desk to brighten up the space
  • Gift it for Mother's Day!
  • Gift it for Teacher Appreciation Day
  • Gift it to celebrate friendships, anniversaries, or birthdays
  • Send it as a "get well" gift for someone in the hospital
  • The possibilities are endless!

~ FINISHING DIRECTIONS ~

  1. Position the flowers onto the pot.  You can use sewing pins to temporarily hold them in place and until you are satisfied with the arrangement. (I put one flower in the center, with five flowers surrounding it.)
  2. Sew the flowers down using a yarn needle and yarn.  If preferred, you can sew beads into the centers of the flowers.
  3. Optional: decorate your pot by embroidering hearts, names, or initials!  You can also sew buttons onto your pot, or turn it into a cute amigurumi by adding eyes and a mouth.

That's it, you're done!
