Tori the Turtle · Part 2: Flippers · Creator Challenge 2022


Welcome to Sweet Softies' fifth annual Creator Challengefeaturing Tori the Turtle!  This basic sea turtle serves as the perfect canvas for you to customize into your own, unique turtle.  If you haven't already, check out the Intro Page for rules and important information about this Creator Challenge.  


For Part 2, we will be crocheting the flippers!

FLIPPERS (x4)

R1: Insert 6 sc in MR. Pull ring tight. (6 sts)

R2: Inc around. (12 sts)

R3: (Sc, inc) x 6. (18 sts)

Without FO, follow the steps below:
  1. Fold the circle in half so that it is a semi-circle. You will now crochet through both layers of the circle.
  2. Sc in the first pair of sts. (Inc in next pair of sts, sc in next) across.
  3. FO with a long tail for sewing to the body later.

Make a total of four flippers.
