The Unicorn Floral Cupcake is a sweet, little amigurumi dessert that you can admire and pet, but not eat!  This zero-calorie treat isn’t meant to be consumed, but rather, serve as a lovely gift or provide you cute and cheerful company during your day! You can easily customize your Unicorn Cupcake using different yarn colors for the flowers, horn, frosting, and more!  You can also add sprinkles, beads, or other embellishments.  The creative possibilities are endless!

There are many holidays and occasions to use it as a present, such as for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, appreciation or thank you gifts, you name it!

Here's another extra-sweet treat, too.  The Unicorn Floral Cupcake is friends with the Bunny Rabbit Cupcake!  Both are free patterns on my blog.  Click here for the Bunny Rabbit Cupcake pattern~

    Finishing Instructions

    1. Sew the horn to the cupcake top.
    2. Pinch the bottom of the ears in half to create a crease, and sew them next to the ears.
    3. Sew each of the flowers to the cupcake top, in front of the horn and the ears.
    4. If desired, sew eyelashes using scraps of black yarn.
    5. Cut out a circle of cardboard that would fit in the base of the bottom half.  Place it there.  (This will provide rigidity and allow your cupcake to stand better.
    6. Sew the bottom and top halves together, using the yarn tail from the bottom half to go into the unworked back loops of R13 in the top half. Make sure you stuff the cupcake firmly before stitching it up completely.
    7. Lastly, add blush to the cheeks and inside of the ears using blush powder and a q-tip.  Click here for the video tutorial on adding blush, or scroll down to view it.

Congratulations on finishing your Unicorn Floral Cupcake!
