Bunny Rabbit Cupcake (Free Crochet Pattern)
Hello my fellow amigurumi enthusiasts,
I'm super excited to share with you my newest free amigurumi design, the Bunny Rabbit Cupcake!
The Bunny Rabbit Cupcake is a sweet, little amigurumi dessert that you can admire and pet, but not eat! This zero-calorie treat isn’t meant to be consumed, but rather, serve as a lovely gift or provide you cute and cheerful company during your day! You can easily customize your Bunny Rabbit Cupcake using different yarn colors as “flavors” or “frostings”, adding sprinkles, attaching beads, or adding other embellishments.
There are many holidays and occasions to use it as a present, such as for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, appreciation or thank you gifts, and more!

~ FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS~
- Add blush to the ears if desired. Check out my video tutorial for adding blush using blush powder & q-tip!
- Pinch the bottom of the ears in half to create a crease. Sew them onto the frosting.
- Sew the strawberry to the leaf. Then, sew the leaf to the frosting.
- Sew the frosting to the top half of the cupcake. Also insert 10mm plastic safety eyes (I put mine between R9-R10, 9 sts apart.)
- Cut out a circle of cardboard that would fit in the base of the bottom half. This will provide rigidity and allow your cupcake to stand better.
- Sew the bottom and top halves together, using the yarn tail from the bottom half to go into the unworked back loops of R13 in the top half. Make sure you stuff the cupcake firmly before stitching it up completely.
