With so many reasons to show kindness lately, why not incorporate it into your summer plans? Family gatherings become so much more memorable when spent doing good. To spark some inspiration why not make a list of all the kind acts you can make from home. We’ve rounded up a few and shared them below!
- Give an in-person positive review to the owner of your favorite restaurant.
- Ask a stranger how they’re doing and listen to what they have to say.
- Leave an unexpected tip for someone.
- Put together a care package for someone you haven’t seen in a long time.
- Leave handwritten notes in your neighbors’ mailboxes.
- Volunteer somewhere new every month for a year.
- Host a virtual bake sale with all of the proceeds given to a charity.
- Devote a couple of weekends to working in a community garden.
These ideas can all be done from a safe distance away while still making a heartfelt impact. Showing random acts of kindness is a perfect way to stay connected with friends and teach little ones life lessons like giving back and showing kindness.
