And just like that, another year comes to a close. I’ve kept up my tradition of writing a “year in review” post, and once again I’m surprised by how quickly everything seemed to happen. This year flew by in the best and busiest ways.
Let’s rewind and take a look!
Here are some highlights:
- I hosted my eighth ever Creator Challenge, featuring the Pocket Alien & UFO (free crochet pattern). It was so fun to see the unique aliens and their spaceships. You can check out the Creator Challenge Results to see all the submissions, as well as the winner of this year's CAL!
- Our littles have been growing so fast! Yumi saw her first snow, Lena learned to read more fluently, the girls enjoyed beautiful Spring weather, Yumi turned one, Lena turned five, we went on a Disney cruise to Alaska, and finished the year celebrating the holidays at home.
- I'm continuously amazed by the support that I receive on social media! My FB page has 27k followers, my FB group has 18.9k members, my Youtube Channel has 161k subs, and my Instagram has 29.6k followers. (At this time last year, my following was 21k on FB, 18.7k in my FB group, 132k on YouTube, and 24.6k on Instagram.) Thank you all for liking my work!
Reflecting on this past year brings back so many meaningful moments. I’m truly humbled by what I’ve been able to accomplish and deeply thankful for the support from this amazing crochet community.
Before I wrap things up, here’s a quick roundup of the crochet designs I released this year~
Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my work, being here, and allowing me to share my love of crocheting and creating with you.
Wishing you all a joyful, cozy, and love-filled winter holiday and a very Happy New Year. Here’s to seeing what 2026 has in store!
With deepest gratitude,
2025 Pattern Round-Up!
I released 45 patterns this year, with over 60% of them (30) being free patterns on my blog and/or YouTube channel! In past years, I've designed a wide variety of crochet items, from amigurumi to clothing and home decor to accessories...but recently I've been more focused on amigurumi.
As usual, I love offering free versions of patterns on my blog because I often get to see more finished items from my designs! It's always a joy for me to see others' projects made form my patterns pop up on Instagram or Facebook! If you'd like to support my free designs and help me with the upkeep for my blog, I'd love if you can check out my 5 Ways to Support my Blog post.
Anyhow, below are the 45 designs I've published for this calendar year, with 30 of them being FREE patterns! You can click on the image to navigate to the pattern page.
