If you love quick, satisfying crochet projects with endless possibilities, you’re going to adore the Daisy Square! 🌼
About the Pattern
This sweet little square features a cheerful 8-petal flower motif and works up fast with no sewing required, making it perfect for beginners and seasoned crocheters alike.Perfect Scrap Yarn Project
One of my favorite things about this pattern is how scrap-friendly it is. Since the yardage requirement is very low, it’s an excellent way to use up leftover yarn from other projects. I personally like to use cotton yarn for this project because it tends to be more sturdy and provide better stitch definition, which is great for showing off the beautiful textures from the double crochet and cluster stitches!
Easily Customizable
You can play around with:- Different color combinations
- Various yarn fibers
- Multiple yarn weights and hook sizes
Sizing
As a general rule of thumb:- Thicker yarn + larger hook = larger square
- Thinner yarn + smaller hook = smaller square
For reference, I used Friends Cotton 8/8 yarn and a 4mm hook to make a 2.5" square, and Friends Cotton 8/4 yarn and a 2.75mm hook to make a 1.5" square.
