The Papa Pig & Piglet crochet pattern is a cute and easy amigurumi farm animal pattern, featuring a big pig in overalls and a tiny piglet plush. This 2-in-1 pig crochet pattern includes instructions for making two sizes of stuffed pigs: a 5-inch tall pig and a mini 2.5-inch piglet, perfect for a keychain or small plush toy.
Here's a little video preview of the pattern!

- Pattern includes lots of photo references to guide you through the doll-making process
- Style: fairytale, whimsical, Waldorf, woodland, animal
Recommended Yarn
This doll was designed using medium weight cotton yarn like Lion Brand's 24/7 Cotton Yarn. Cotton gives it a beautiful and crisp stitch definition!
Acrylic yarns would be great choices for this pattern too. Additional worsted weight yarn recommendations include the following 100% acrylic options:
- Lion Brand Heartland (beautiful, heathered yarn)
- Brava Worsted (good bang for your buck)
- Caron Simply Soft (has a light sheen)
However, you can experiment with different types of fibers for a different look. For instance, using a super bulky weight chenille velvet yarn can create a plush look. Or, opt for the slightly textured Feels Like Bliss yarn for a soft and furry look.
Uses
This stuffed pig crochet pattern is perfect for handmade gifts, craft fairs, Etsy shops, and market booths. Whether you're looking for a last-minute birthday gift, baby shower gift, farmhouse nursery décor, or a Christmas stocking stuffer, this adorable pink pig stuffed animal is sure to be a hit.
