Marley the Mushroom Gatherer is a no-sew amigurumi doll that comes with removable accessories, including a:
  • wicker basket
  • mini mushroom
  • pixie bonnet hood

Marley’s design features a beautifully-textured dress skirt, lantern sleeves, and realistic foot shape. Her hair is attached with a quick and easy technique, and does not involve crocheting a hair cap.

This doll set offers a lot of dress-up and pretend play fun for little girls and boys, and would make a lovely birthday gift or Christmas holiday present.

Here's a little video showcasing Marley and her accessories!

Recommended Yarn

This doll was designed using Hobbii's Twister Solid XL yarn, which is a medium weight 4 yarn that's a cotton-acrylic blend. It creates a beautiful and crisp stitch definition.

Any cotton or acrylic yarn would be suitable for this pattern. Additional worsted weight yarn recommendations include:
However, you can experiment with different types of fibers for a different look. For instance, using a super bulky weight chenille velvet yarn can create a plush look. Or, opt for the slightly textured Feels Like Bliss yarn for a soft and furry look.

Uses

  • Detailed toy set for children to play with
  • Selling at craft fairs, markets, or high-end boutiques
  • Birthday gift, Christmas holiday gift for toddlers and young children
  • Christmas stocking stuffer
