Pocket Plush Collection · 12 Mini Amigurumi Animal Patterns

I recently started a series of 12 mini amigurumi animals, all with the following features:

  • Pointy snouts
  • No-sew ears attached to the head
  • Clever color changes in the face (and/or other body parts) to add detail without crocheting extra parts to sew
  • Chubby little bodies and limbs

These adorable amigurumi dolls are great for selling at craft fairs, as last-minute birthday, Christmas, or holiday gifts, or as pretend play toys. They're quite fast to work up, and while they require sewing of the limbs and head to the body, it's quick and easy work! Nothing complex at all. They also require very little yarn so you can make a lot of stuffed plushies with only a few different colored skeins.

Pattern eBook Bundle

Want the printable PDF patterns bundled together? The Pocket Plush Bundle is sold together at a discounted price in my Payhip store (almost 45% off)!  They are also available in my Etsy shop for a higher fee.

Each pattern includes a lot of photo references for you to follow along easily.

Yarn Used

These amigurumis are designed with super bulky chenille velvet or blanket yarn.  I used Hobbii's Honey Bunny Yarn, which is perfect for a soft and cuddly little toy. You can also try out other types of fibers, such as blanket yarn, polyester, chenille, acrylic, wool, cotton and more.

Since these plushes are about 4 inches (10 cm) tall, they make great keychains too! If you want to crochet them even smaller, use thinner yarns and a smaller hook.
