Sage Phone Pouch (Free Crochet Pattern)

Dear fellow crocheters,

I'm super excited to share with you my new design, the Sage Phone Pouch!  It's a quick and easy beginner-friendly crochet pattern that is not only fun to make, but useful too.  It serves as a protective cover for your mobile device, or as a handy bag for small items. This cute yet simple design features a strap that loops around a button to keep the contents of the pouch safe from falling out.

The size for this pattern is easily adjustable with written instructional tips, so it can be made into a custom fit case for any device.

You can make it to fit...
  • Any smartphone
  • iPad or tablet
  • Kindle
  • Book
  • Laptop
  • You name it!

This pouch can also be customized by changing yarn colors or using a fancy button to create a unique look.  It’s the perfect project to make as a thank you or appreciation gift, a birthday present, or for selling at craft fairs!

The yarn I used is a 100% cotton yarn, which allows this pouch to maintain its shape well, unlike acrylic (or other fibers) that may stretch out after some use.  However, you are welcome to use acrylic yarns or the yarn of your choice and keep it from stretching by inserting a cloth lining within the bag.  If you'd like to go with my same materials, I used Lily Sugar n' Cream in "Sage Green" and "Green Twists."
