Petite Floral Dreamcatcher (Free Crochet Pattern + Video Tutorial)

How about a happy and fun pattern to brighten up your day or living space?  I'm excited to present to you my newest free pattern, the Petite Floral Dreamcatcher!

    Links

Petite Floral Dreamcatcher, pictured with the Bunny Rabbit Cupcake (free pattern)!

This beginner-friendly project is quick, easy, and can be crocheted in just 30 minutes (or less).

It's a very versatile pattern that features a puff stitch flower in the center and allows you to play with different yarn color combinations and bead combinations.  It’s such a trendy and fun project that you can use as a stash buster as well, since it uses up very little yarn to make.  I loved crocheting it with different colors and fibers!

Fast and addictive to make, you’ll love the finished product equally as this mini décor is oh-so-cute!

Chic accessories and items like these sell well at craft fairs and make excellent gifts, or as a treat for yourself.  It’s a must-have Spring and Summer accessory to add a fashionable bohemian (boho), gypsy, hippie, free spirit, vintage, or festival touch.

    • A complete, step-by-step video tutorial is available on the Sweet Softies Youtube Channel.  You can also scroll down on this page to find the video tutorial!

    Let's start!

    Start with pink yarn.

R1: Begin with either a magic ring, or ch 4 and sl st to first ch. In the loop created: ch 1, insert 6 puff stitches. Join with a sl st to ch on top of first puff. (6 puffs)

    Switch to white yarn.

R2: Ch 1, (sc on top of puff, inc in space between puffs) x 6. Join with a sl st to the top of the first sc. (18 sc)

    Switch to green yarn.

R3: Ch 1, insert a puff stitch in each st around. Join with a sl st to ch on top of first puff. (18 puffs)

    Switch to white yarn.

R4: Ch 1, (sc on top of puff, sc in space between puffs) x 18. Join with a sl st to the top of the first sc. (36 sc)

Ch 10 (or however long you want your handle to be). Sl st in same st.

To finish, fasten off and weave in the ends.

    Tassel Instructions

You're going to love making tassels with my Quick & Easy (no-hassle) Tassel Tutorial!  It has step-by-step written instructions with photos to guide you along the process.  Once you have finished the tassel, sew it to the bottom of the dreamcatcher, fasten off, and weave in the ends.

Here's a sample visual from my Mint Spirit Earrings pattern, which quickly illustrates how it's done!

To match my dreamcatcher, make three tassels and sew them to the bottom of the dreamcatcher.

Once you have finished that, you are all done with this quick and easy project!  Congratulations on finishing!
