Dear fellow crocheters,
Looking for a basic leaf pattern? This quick and easy crochet leaf is a fun one to make! You can use it as an applique on a blanket, hat, or other object, or even on your amigurumi.
It will be part of a flower amigurumi pattern that I'll be sharing on my blog later, but for now... here's the leaf portion if anyone's interested in just this!

This cute, crochet leaf is super simple and quick to work up! You can whip up a bunch of these in one sitting and use them as lovely appliques on blankets, hats, wreaths, and more. They go well with flower appliques, of course, and also to decorate amigurumi! They're also a great stash buster because you only need a small amount of yarn to make a leaf, so you can use up your scraps this way.

Notes (Read before beginning!)
- If you're looking to have a long yarn end to sew this leaf onto another object, allocate a long tail before making your starting chain. This is for convenience purposes, but completely optional!
With your leaf-colored yarn (green) and 3.25mm hook...
- Ch 8.
- Now, you will work down one end of the chain. Insert your hook into the 2nd ch from the hook.
- Fasten off, and weave in the end. You are done!
