Hat Sizing & Measurements Reference Chart (Free Printable & Crochet Hat Patterns)

Dear fellow crafters,

I thought I'd put together a convenient and helpful resource for crocheters and knitters -- a hat sizing and measurement chart!  This chart can be used as a reference for those of you who'd like to get a general idea of what the average sized head is for the different age groups and sizes.

Whether you're crocheting or knitting some head-wear, you'll be able to use the references here to help gauge the relative size for the crown of the hat and the height of the hat to match the head measurement.  This can be useful for beanies, bonnets, headbands, turbans, and other head accessories!

Sizes include micro preemies (itty bitty premature babies), preemies, newborn to three months (0-3 months), 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, toddler, child, adult small, adult medium, and adult large.
