I recently got the most darling coat for my little girl, and I am just obsessed with it! As many of you know from my crochet designs, I am enamored with the woodland and fairytale aesthetic. This whimsical Frolicsome Fawn Coat really speaks to it!

My Review on Little Goodall's Frolicsome Fawn Coat
Quality & Craftsmanship
The quality and craftsmanship of this coat is impeccable. It's so well-made, all of the stitches are neat and perfect, and it is perfect for gifting. The different colors and mixture of fabrics come together for a very realistic portrayal of a deer.
I really admire all the details that go into this coat! The hood includes button eyes and dual-toned ears.
Oh, and just look at the fur-lined tail! Too cute!
The materials are of such high quality. The coat is crafted from caramel-colored 100% wool felt, and lined with soft faux fur. There are even creamy wool spots that are carefully needle-felted in place before they are stitched down.
So much love and care goes into the creation of this coat!
Warm, Cozy, and Functional
This darling coat is not only adorable, but warm, cozy, and functional too! It isn't stiff and meant for photoshoots only (even though it is most definitely photoshoot-worthy!). This coat is a nifty outerwear that my daughter can actually play and move around in.
It boasts of two front pockets that are spacious for holding outdoor treasures collected while exploring meadows and trails. The little, black hoof cuffs on the sleeves can be folded up neatly when it's time to eat. The beautifully tailored two-piece sleeves also follow the curve of the child's arm for increased mobility.
According to the website, the sleeves are also lined in poly charmuse, so they slip easily on and off over clothing. Thus, you can really layer up and keep extra warm during the coldest of seasons!
Gifting
Given how flawlessly-designed and made this coat is, I would say it makes for a really stunning and special gift. Since it's unisex and gender neutral, it can be well-loved by boys and girls and everyone in-between! Its classic yet whimsical style appeal to both kids and their parents.
This particular coat's sizing goes from 12 month old babies to 8 year old children. I can see it being cherished as a birthday gift or a Christmas holiday gift!
Conclusion
Overall, I feel like every part of this coat is designed with intent! I can't emphasize enough about how beautiful and soft it is in person. My little girl is truly wearing an heirloom piece when she puts this on, because I know we'd want to hold onto this precious coat for generations to come.
