Hello my lovely amigurumi enthusiasts,

Here's Part 1 of my Sakura Kimono Doll pattern! We'll be making the head, hair, and the sakura (cherry blossom) flowers.

Sakura Kimono Doll

Part 1


Pattern Notes (Read Before Beginning):


Head

Use skin-colored yarn (peach). 
R1: In MR, sc 6. (6 sts) 
R2: Inc around. (12 sts) 
R3: (Sc, inc) x 6. (18 sts) 
R4: (Sc 2, inc) x 6. (24 sts) 
R5: (Sc 3, inc) x 6. (30 sts) 
R6: (Sc 4, inc) x 6. (36 sts) 
R7-R15: Sc around. (36 sts) 
R16: (Sc 4, dec) x 6. (30 sts) 
R17: (Sc 3, dec) x 6. (24 sts) 
Insert 8mm eyes 7 sts apart btwn R12-R13. 
R18: (Sc 2, dec) x 6. (18 sts) 
R19: Dec around. (9 sts) 
FO. No need to leave a long tail.

Hair Cap

Use hair-colored yarn (black). 
R1-R13: Repeat instructions for the ‘Head.’ 
FO with a long tail for sewing later.

Hair Bun

Use hair-colored yarn (black). 
R1: In MR, sc 6. (6 sts) 
R2: Inc around. (12 sts) 
R3: (Sc, inc) x 6. (18 sts) 
R4-R5: Sc around. (18 sts) 
R6: (Sc, dec) x 6. (12 sts) 
FO with a long tail for sewing later.

Flowers (x3)

Use purple or dark pink yarn. 
R1: In MR, (ch 5, sl st in ring) x 5. 
FO with a tail for sewing later.
