Double-Strapped Baby Mary Janes (Free Crochet Pattern)

Hi fellow crocheters,

I crocheted this sweet pair of Mary Janes shoes designed by the amazingly talented One Dog Woof!

It's a quick and easy design to work up, and the straps and button really add to its cuteness!  Definitely an instant-gratification sort of project, and it doesn't take up much yarn at all.  So, if you have or know a baby who could use a sweet, handmade pair of shoes in her life, this would be a great project to whip up for her!

If you'd like to make one yourself, be sure to check out the free crochet pattern here: Double Strapped Baby Mary Janes Crochet Pattern.  I think it's such a fun project with lots of opportunity to play around with different color combinations and cute button embellishments!

For this sweet pair of mine, I followed the crochet instructions to the T, using the recommended worsted weight yarn and a 4.00mm crochet hook to make the size 6-12 months!

I had so much fun whipping up these shoes that I made another pair in pink and grey, this time using light weight (3) yarn and a 3.25mm crochet hook to create a smaller version.

I took some work-in-progress shots this time around, so if you're making these shoes as well, hopefully these visual references will come in handy!

I just had a lot of fun taking photos of this wee shoe.  Isn't it precious in pink?  I think it seriously makes such a sweet, heartfelt baby shower gift!
