Are you ready to crochet the cutest, little ghost in just 10 minutes? I'm excited to share this new pattern design with you!
Say hello to the Pocket Ghost! This is a very quick, fast, and no-sew amigurumi pattern. The PDF pattern includes 2 ghost sizes (big and small) as well as a mini bow accessory.
Using the bulky weight 5 yarn and 5mm crochet hook that I included in the materials list, the small ghost is about 2.5 inches tall and the big ghost is about 3.5 inches tall.
Free Pattern
The free version of this pattern is a step-by-step video tutorial that'll show you how to make the small ghost! It's super adorable and the perfect size to turn into a keychain or hanging ornament.

Uses
There are so many uses for these mini ghosts! Here are a few ideas:
- Party favor
- Garland or hanging ornament as Halloween decor
- Stocking stuffer
- Last-minute gifts
- Craft fair product* (great to include in claw machines or grab bags!)
- Keychain, hanging ornament, or bag charm accessory using a keychain making kit
Since the small ghost takes less than 10 minutes for me (an experienced crocheter) to make, this is considered a very fast crochet project, making the pattern perfect to make on repeat for Autumn or Fall craft fairs. You can also make them as crochet party favors for a Halloween party. You can even string them up into a garland or turn them into hanging ornaments as Halloween decor.
*It's the perfect pattern to use as market prep because it works up so fast without any sewing needed, and is economical with its low yarn use.
Recommended Yarn
This quick project is designed using Posh Twist yarn, which is a super plush and soft bulky weight 5 yarn. This is the most durable and non-shedding chenille velvet yarn I've used, so I highly recommend it for projects that might be getting a lot of use and love!
While this pattern is designed with plush yarn for that plush, squishy look, you can also try it with other types of yarns, such as cotton or acrylic. If using a thinner yarn, your finished ghost will end up smaller. As a tiny ghost, it works great as a cute keychain, hanging ornament, or bag charm. To make a keychain, simply add clasps and rings with this inexpensive keychain making kit and you can clip the mini doll onto diaper bags, backpacks, purses, an actual canvas tote, and more.
