Northwest Cup Cozy & Coaster (Free Crochet Pattern)

Dear fellow crocheters,

Autumn season is a'coming!  A great way to bring in the season is with piping hot drinks.  For me, it's my pseudo coffee, "Dandy Blend" (a non-caffeinated but coffee-tasting drink!), or fall-inspired teas with pumpkin spice and cinnamon!

Of course, I always love throwing crochet into the mix some way or another... hence my newest design, the Northwest Cup Cozy and Coaster set!

This crochet pattern is:
  • Free on my blog!
  • Quick
  • Easy and beginner-friendly
  • Rustic
  • Textured
  • Features the Suzette Stitch & Surface Slip Stitch
  • Available as a video tutorial
  • Makes a great gift set and craft fair product

I also have free Coffee Sleeve Printables available if you'd like to print some out and showcase your cup cozies on them!

As a resident of the Pacific Northwest, I know how much us Northwesterners LOVE our coffee mugs.  Here are a few on my wishlist that I think are oh-so-cute and gorgeous...

Since a coffee mug is a must, I'd say that these crocheted cup accessories are musts too... ;)

I don't know about you, but I love having a touch of yarn wherever possible.  This set that I designed, in particular, is just the perfect quick fix for that because it's so easy, beginner-friendly, and fast to whip up!

It features the beautiful Suzette Stitch, which provides a lovely, textured look.  I think it looks especially beautiful with Lion Brand Heartland Yarn.  There are so many different shades that are all heathered tweed and so trendy!

I made this particular set below in the color 'Yosemite'.

The green set here is in the color 'Joshua Tree', with an added lining detail in 'Kings Canyon.'  This greenish look reminds me of how woodsy the Pacific Northwest is.  It just brings me a sense of calm and relaxation...

Adding wooden buttons is also something I love to do when it comes to putting an extra touch of "rustic" feel to any crochet project!
