Knit Pocket Fox Amigurumi (Free Knitting Pattern)

by - January 27, 2019

Dear fellow crafters,

I'm so excited to share with you this ADORABLE project that I knitted last winter!  Yep, you heard me right -- knitted.

I haven't done much knitting at all over these past few years!  I first learned how to knit through DIY YouTube videos a few years back (isn't the Internet such an amazing resource for picking up new skills?).  Below is my very first knitting creation (with pattern link)!

However, since his creation circa....2012, I haven't really done much knitting since then!

Little did I know, I'd pick up my knitting needles again when I saw the adorable Pocket Fox pattern by B. Humphreys.

Humphreys' design was too cute NOT to knit!  Despite it being a small, fiddly project to work with, having the end-goal in mind helped me persist and figure out the pattern, eventually churning out this little guy after a 5-hour sitting!

He's in no way perfect, but I adddoooorrreeee him for how teeny he is!!  His little body fits in the palm of my hand.  He truly is a "pocket" fox!

If you'd like to knit one for yourself as well, I highly recommend B. Humphreys' Pocket Fox pattern!

It's straight-forward, knitted flat, and works up in one sitting!

Anyhow, this project has definitely re-invigorated my love for knitting, and I can't wait to do dabble more in that craft.  Be on the lookout for more knitting-related projects in the future!

Warm wishes,
