Mittens the Realistic Cat · Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Some of you have been asking for a realistic cat...so here's my take on it! The sloped body portion may look familiar to you if you've seen my Firefox or Honey Bunny, but there are some modifications. Let's take a look at this pattern!

Mittens is a realistic and low-sew amigurumi cat. This crochet pattern features beautiful body shaping, clever color changes for details in the ears, and protruded no-sew paws that make Mittens look like a real kitten.

Uses

  • Unisex & gender-neutral pretend play toy for children (great for a Waldorf or Montessori classroom)
  • Stuffed animal gift for cat lovers and neko lovers
  • Selling at craft fairs, markets, or boutiques as a high-end toy
  • For charity or random acts of kindness
  • Nursery decor for baby rooms
  • Birthday gift or holiday gift
  • Christmas stocking stuffer

Recommended Yarn

I used Hobbii's Honey Bunny yarn to crochet this soft, cuddly, and velvety plush! However, you're welcome to try out different yarn fibers to create various looks, such as fur yarn, blanket yarn, wool, cotton, or acrylic.
