Happy Mail from my Online Friends | The Most Special Gift I've Ever Received! (Vlog)
Dear fellow crocheters,
I need to take a moment to share something amazing that happened to me last weekend.
I’m in a group of online crochet bloggers called the Wonder Woolmen, and we’ve been good friends for a year and a half (though it feels like we’ve known each other for a lifetime!!). We chat about everything — from our blogs and our craft to our personal lives, families, work...everything in between! When they heard I was expecting, they began putting together the most amazing gift a new mama could ever ask for.
Last weekend, I got that surprise from the Wonder Woolmen by mail and opened it up to find this stunning handmade gift, all wrapped up with a perfect ribbon bow!
When I opened it, there were heartfelt, handwritten cards and letters! I just LOVE receiving letters!
Each one of my friends had crocheted a unique square, which was stitched together into a baby blanket. Isn't that such a remarkable act of love?
My little Lena Rose is so, so blessed to have all this love poured into her arrival, and it can be seen and felt with every stitch! I’m utterly touched and I know our whole family will treasure this forever. Here she is, admiring this special gift made just for her.
As a new parent who has been waiting to become a mother all my life and anticipating my baby girl throughout my pregnancy, I am so very touched by this.
My friends are truly the best!!
