Pattern tester call for the Plush Doll Bases Bundle!

Dear fellow crocheters,

I've been working hard on a doll base bundle using plush yarn! Since it's designed with super bulky weight chenille yarn, these are relatively fast-to-work-up projects. These dolls are completely no-sew and range in sizes! There are currently 6 sizes, but I may throw in a bonus 7th size!

This bundle will be released as an eBook following the pattern testing phase. I'm currently on a lookout for testers, so if you're interested, please apply on Instagram here

About the Dolls

Each doll base pattern is completely no-sew and features a different height for you to create your own custom family of dolls. These crochet patterns are perfect body bases to create your own custom characters! Sizes are as follows:
  • Baby - 2.5 inches
  • Toddler - 4 inches
  • Child - 6 inches
  • Older child - 8 inches
  • Short Adult - 10 inches
  • Tall Adult - 11.5 inches
Following the release of this doll base pattern pack, I'll be working next on a "Customization" eBook for those who'd like to learn how to personalize their dolls! I plan to include tutorials on:
  • Yarn color changes
  • Wig cap patterns for different hair styles (e.g., pigtails, bangs, long hair, braids)
  • Headgear (e.g., sun hat, cap, hood, headband, flower crown)
  • Accessories (e.g., scarf, cloak, crossobdy purse, tote, backpack, shoes, boots)
  • Clothing (e.g., dress skirt)
  • And misc fun additions, like fairy wings, angel wings, and more!

MATERIALS

  • Super bulky weight 6 chenille yarn in desired colors (I used Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn)
  • 5mm crochet hook
  • 8mm - 12mm plastic safety eyes
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors
  • Optional: thread or thin yarn for embroidering facial features or other details to the doll

★★☆☆☆ Easy. Requires familiarity with stitches used (below) and joining pieces.

sl st = slip stitch
