  1. Hi! your stitches look sooo clean! Is it possible you are using the yarn under method? A beautiful princess! I am going to buy the pattern soon!

    1. Aww, thanks for the sweet compliment! yes, I think I naturally use the yarn-under method. I didn't notice until you had mentioned! I hope you'll enjoy making Emerie! :)

  2. Hi there, thanks so much for the beautiful patterns, I have already tried a few of your free patterns and really enjoyed them so much so that now I have started to buy some of your patterns. But this pattern is a bit confusing to me, Im not sure how to do the shoes, I have spent over an hour now trying different things but cannot seem to figure it out. Do I make a magic circle with the 5 chains, slip stitch? really wish you had a video how to do it.

    1. Sorry it's confusing! What you will do is Ch 5 first. Then, in the second chain from the hook (that's the fourth ch that you've made), you'll be inserting: 3 single crochets in that chain, a sc in the next chain (the 3rd ch you've made), a sc in the next chain (the 2nd ch you've made), and 3 sc in the next chain (the 1st ch you've made). That brings you back to the beginning where you've started, so you will now work on the other side of the chain. Sc in the next st, then sc again in the next st. That is where you'll stop for R1 and go on to R2.

I hope that this helps! I'm sorry I don't have a video tutorial for this section. :(
