Recommended Yarn
This adorable amigurumi can be made with different types of yarn weights and fibers! Below is an example of how the yarn weight and hook size used can result in different finished sizes. The smaller candy on the left is 2" across and made using this weight 4 cotton yarn with a 2.75mm crochet hook. The larger candy on the right is 3" across and made using this super bulky weight 6 chenille velvet yarn and a 5mm hook.
Both candies work well as bag charms or keychains, too! Simply add clasps and rings with this inexpensive keychain making kit and you can clip your amigurumi onto backpacks, purses, and more.
