Foxy Ears!

by - August 10, 2018

Hi fellow crocheters,

Foxes are one of my favorite animals!  My amigurumi fox design, Fletcher the Fox, is a work of pride for me.  I spent a significant amount of time working on his design and re-working on it, to try and achieve the style that I wanted.  Aside from the shaping of the face, I took particular pride in making his ears!

Here's a quick, visual run-through of how a fox ear is made.
As you can see, I start out with two rounded triangles, in red and white.  I place the white atop the red, and then crochet around the two, securing them together.  Then, some black yarn is sewn to the tip of the ears, and one ear is complete!

Here's what my handsome Fletcher looks like with his two, charming ears!

The pattern for Fletcher the Fox is available on Ravelry, Craftsy and Etsy, so feel free to check them out if you're interested!
