Introducing the Kitty Mug Rug, an adorable amigurumi calico cat turned into a cup coaster! This will be your cutest mug rug yet! It also works as a charming desk decoration when you're not sipping on some coffee or tea, and it brings warmth and personality to any space.
The Kitty Mug Rug is a cute calico cat cup coaster! It is nearly no-sew, only requiring sewing for the head to the body. This sweet kitten pattern features a circle coaster, making it both a functional desk buddy and cute office decor.
Look at its cute, furry underside!
It makes a great emotional support stuffie, birthday gift, baby shower gift, Christmas holiday gift or market/craft fair product. If you are a cat lover, or perhaps a coffee or tea lover, OR if you're looking to crochet the perfect gift for someone who is, this kitty mug rug will not disappoint! Can you imagine how much joy it'll bring to you when you see it perched on your desk each morning?
About the Pattern
- Low-sew project (sewing only needed for attaching the head to the body)
- Fast to work up
- Size: body is a 4.5" diameter circle
- Recommended for intermediate crocheters due to the color changes
Recommended Yarn
This pattern was designed using faux fur yarn for a soft and furry stuffed animal! I used Lion Brand Yarn's Feels like Bliss Yarn, and really enjoy how silky it feels when crocheting. Other yarn options like blanket yarn or chenille velvet yarn can also be used with this pattern to create a plush look.
Uses
- Desk decor to add a touch of cozy to your workspace
- Selling at craft fairs, markets, or boutiques
- Birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift
- Christmas stocking stuffer
