My newest free pattern, the Gold Luxe Cowl, involves crocheting in the third loop. This method creates a beautiful, knit-like look using crochet methods! Working half double crochets also allows a good amount of stretch in the fabric, giving this cowl its lovely drape without looking or feeling too dense and rigid.

thanks for sharing this versatile pattern! I have some lion suede by lion brand that I will use to make this cowl for myself for fall. I believe the lion suede is a discontinued yarn (#5 bulky) but is swishy and I have about 8.5 ounces to use. You could try to substitute another #5 bulky as an idea. Thanks again for sharing!
