Tiny Baby Ghostie (Free Crochet Pattern)
Looking for a fun, easy, and quick crochet project to whip up for this Halloween season? Well, look no further! This tiny, baby ghostie could be the perfect little one to make!
Add a string, perhaps with a tiny bell inside, and hang him up around the house! The only drawback is that this little ghostie is probably not very good at spooking anyone, since he's so itty-bitty and cute! With a face like that, it'll be hard to draw out some blood-curling screams!
One thing to note is that this little ghostie does LOVE companions, so it'd be a good idea to make two (or maybe even an army of them!) so that they can keep each other company. Add bells inside each of them, and listen to them jingle!

Is this cute little ghost open at the bottom?
ReplyDeleteHi Denise! Yes, the little ghost is open at the bottom! You may attach a bell inside and hang him up! :)
DeleteAbsolutely adorable! I must make some for my grandchildren. Thank you for such a lovely pattern.
ReplyDeleteThat's so wonderful! Your grandchildren are blessed to have such a crafty and loving grandma and I'm sure they'll enjoy their little ghosties!
DeleteI am epically failing at this darling ghost. I am marking my first and last stitch and following the pattern, yet I seem to be gaining stitches. I understand I should be joining in the first stitch of each round and chaining one, but again, I am gaining stitches. Any advice? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi! Hmm, I'm wondering... are you inserting your first st into the same st as the ch-1? When you reach the end, make sure you're not inserting an extra st into the ch-1 st. Instead, you'll be skipping over that and joining directly to the first SC you made (not the chain). I hope this helps!!
DeleteThank you so much for the clarification! I thoroughly enjoy your blog and I love your work.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet and kind, thank you so much!! :)
